"It's not a bad warehouse to work at. You wont be compensated very well unless you learn to use equipment or move up in the warehouse."
"Company moving to B2B retail is getting phased out. POS system very outdated slow constantly down."
"Office Depot/Compucom is an innovative, progressive, and forward moving company. Their commitment to quality, excellence, diversity, and customer service made it an exciting place to work. The HR department was team oriented with a culture of assertiveness, especially when dealing with problem solving. Each individual in the HR department gave 100% and often had the autonomy to fix anything the team felt needed attention. I was sad my contract ended and my headcount was moved to New Jersey. I would highly recommend the organization as a great place to work!"
"Office Depot Corp is a very well organized and professionally managed company. This company recognizes and lives out the understanding that all solutions start and end with customer satisfaction."
"Office Depot is transitioning from an Office Supply company to a service based company. All Lines of Business are working diligently to make this transition. The CEO and EVP of the organization have developed a clear playbook to achieve this goal."
"If you are a hustler, you'll fit in fine. Plenty of chances to move departments and do new things."
"I have worked in Office Depot almost a decade in two different roles. I enjoyed working there mainly for two reasons, they have excellent workforce and executive leadership is invested in turning around the company during these difficult times."
"I've worked for office depot for 4 years now and have held my current title of Sales Manager for over 2 years. Starting in this company it has developed my skills and prepared me for future projects within the sales industry."
"I worked for Office Depot for over 5 years. I enjoyed my time there, and the many facets I was able to work and learn. The culture at teams levels is strong, and leadership is working to grow it at a corporate level."
"The company was moving in a great direction and appeared to be performing well. This past week they announced 13,000 layoffs and multiple store closures. Do your research before accepting a position as they will be shrinking and changing direction. Full disclosure...my position was eliminated as a result of the change."
"I've worked for Office depot since October 2019 and as much as I would like to think the company has great core values I would be lying to myself. When I was first offered the position as their Client Engagement Manager, I was thrilled but as the months pass by I soon realize that this company cares nothing than making sure they are getting money. This means they treated the employees very poorly, majority of the stores that I've been to were ran down, old , and exterior wise was dirty. Our registers were more then 20 years old and we would have tons of technical difficulties because of how old the registers were. Employees would have to stand the majority of their shifts with no adequate seating. But one good thing about this company and my position is that I met a lot of great people."
"I've worked for Office Depot Since 2014. This company is ever changing to compete with the market of a brick and mortar storefront. We as associates are challenged everyday to perform our best and be successful. I enjoy working for this company."
"The company has a great vision."
"The people who work there are nice, and the pay is decent. Part-time workers can get 28 to 32 (or more) hours. Even though you may only apply for one specific position, the managers will crosstrain you in other departments."
"Office Depot is a strong company that values their associates across all levels."
