"The move toward tiny cubicles and a bull pen mentality is the main reason I left Chase. In my field as a software developer, many of us are introverted, and the chaos of working in small cubes with low walls is draining. The ability to work from home is very rare, and viewed negatively by Sr. Management, while at the same time the office space is redesigned with smaller and smaller cubicles because they are running out of space. It makes no sense at all."

What do you like about working at JPMorgan?

"I liked the great team and resources behind them. You are given all the tools to succeed! Every product banking has to offer is at Chase. They are a leader in the industry."

Do you have any tips for others interviewing with this company?

"Show enthusiasm, be able to think on your feet, and dress to impress. No one likes a slacker. Dress the part!!!!"

What don't you like about working at JPMorgan?

"I disliked the fact that there was no centralized underwriting for the loans that I originated, meaning, after submitting a deal, an underwriter in Columbus, Ohio, would underwrite the file and, no offense, but they typically don't understand the market in Kenosha, Wisconsin."

What suggestions do you have for management?

"Put realistic goals for people to attain, especially in this market today. Do not set your staff up for failure. I am all for working hard to achieve success, but let's be realistic."
