"Working at this company was great."
What do you like about working at Artissimo Designs?
"the company had a great demeanor and the atmosphere and work environment was fun to work in. The CEO was involved in everything that we did and was supportive on all work we created. The department environment was very family oriented mentality and we worked as a team. It gave the feeling that you were always part of something and not just a employee."
Do you have any tips for others interviewing with this company?
"Have to a strong work ethic and experience working at a fast pace. Have to wear multiple hats in the position and have no ego."
What don't you like about working at Artissimo Designs?
"As the company grew we the department became more corporate. My position became less about design and more about production. I didn't really see myself moving forward with the company and the team environment felt lost."
What suggestions do you have for management?
"To hire more employees. After the company grew successful at such a short timeframe the workload became overwhelming."

"Their aggressive market positioning helps the company keep solvent in a volatile market."

"Talk to employees in the department in which you are seeking a position."

"They have very regular working hours and do not allow overtime."

"I would suggest that they seek a bit more loyalty in employees."

"the colleagues are complicated, and hard to communicate. and no vacation"

"we should work as a team work and communicate with each other well."

"A great learning and growing experience in design and relationship management."
What do you like about working at Zurich North America?
"I have gotten to work with a great group of employees in many different areas of the company from HR issues to Renewable Energy efforts, in addition, working with people in Canada and Europe and vendors. Everyday is different and on a one-to-one level colleagues and openly vocal and appreciative of the work (and prioritization) of the work done for them."
Do you have any tips for others interviewing with this company?
"Apply with the recommendation of an upper management individual. Be good with change."
What don't you like about working at Zurich North America?
"There was no room for advancement and our team was continually moved into different business units, so constant change. Also, lack of software update and support."
What suggestions do you have for management?
"Keep all designers on the same/compatible systems, so that extra time isn't taken to recreate items and there is seamless transition and capabilities between design professionals."

"I like that I was able to work from home and that the work was pretty consistent."

"Keep detailed notes on client correspondence, so that there is no confusion about who did what."

"A lot of the same in terms of projects, not a lot of opportunity to be creative."

"Be more clear from the beginning about what you'd like done in terms of projects."

"I liked the location, and the fact that everyone I met there was helpful, and it really was a team environment"

"Just to be yourself, and let your work speak for itself."

"I didn't like the fact that I couldn't advance in the company, I wanted to learn new skills and apply them to my work, but was told it wouldn't matter."

"Be a bit more supportive in your employees desire to improve what they know, it only benefits the company"

"I love the people I work for and the cubicles."

"The one thing I say to people is try to talk with other co-workers to see if they like it there."

"It is not permanent and it is kind of far from home."

"I don't really have any suggestions. Maybe try to get benefits for people."

"low grade design done on antiquated equipment. art director there has no vision."
What do you like about working at East Coast Media?
"I was occasionally able to create some very nice designs. Usually these would be ruined by the art director's ham-fisted artistic sense."

"Look elsewhere. Have an exit strategy and be prepared to use it."

"The owners have had very little experience in the industry before starting their own company. This is reflected in their way of doing things."

"Learn from their employees and trust their past experiences. Stop using fear as motivation."

"Established and stable company with ample resources and many connections."

"Great company to learn business strategies and get work experience."

"Little room for growth, and lacking training and growth opportunities."

"Encourage and reward those willing to go above and beyond."

"I liked making clients happy with the design work I was doing. Each one always seemed blown away."
Do you have any tips for others interviewing with this company?
"Run away fast. There are better opportunities else where for sure."
What don't you like about working at PostNet?
"Pretty much everything outside of client liaison and designing / production was a god awful experience."
What suggestions do you have for management?
"I really wish they wouldn't just let anyone open a PostNet. They had no business background and clearly thought sitting in front of a computer not selling to clients was more important."

What do you like about working at Boombah?
"Boombah is a growing company, and the owner of the company has a very grand vision. His excitement for Boombah and the direction we're heading in is certainly contagious."
Do you have any tips for others interviewing with this company?
"The interview process for this company has changed a great deal since I interview for my position. Obviously, honesty is important when interviewing for any job."
What don't you like about working at Boombah?
"The transition from small to large company has not always been easy, and there have been many changes in policy, management, job descriptions, etc. Management views me as a stable, capable, and reliable worker, so I tend to get used to pick up the pace for workers who may not be catching on quickly, or who may not be pulling their weight. As a result I have had trouble with upward mobility at Boombah even though my relationship with upper management is fantastic and I do my job very well."

"Management at Boombah does a fair job treating all employees without bias."
