"Make sure you have your job outline and follow it. I was lucky in that I was schooled and had experience in every facet of my department but did not have the time under my belt there to climb the ladder of success."
What don't you like about working at Abbott Staffing?
"It was a temporary position. I considered applying as the graphic artist when they had to make cuts."
What suggestions do you have for management?
"Enroll in communication classes. There's a glitch between the departments! People are not on the same page except for in their own departments."

What do you like about working at PostNet?
"I enjoyed the atmosphere and Clients. Being able to discuss what was needed and produce something each client wanted was fulfilling and rewarding."
Do you have any tips for others interviewing with this company?
"Make sure that the career is what you love to do, and not to apply just because you need money. There are no benefits and the job can be exhausting at times."
What don't you like about working at PostNet?
"There was no room for growth within the company and because of this, I was pushed out."

"Having more benefits. Something as simple as health insurance would be great."

"I liked working with the people and my boss was wonderful, eventhough she worked offsite in Georgia."

"No, I would like to think there is no one else as qualified as me for this position!"
What don't you like about working at Standard Register?
"I couldn't complain about anything, but some of the processes could have been improved. Each department had their own policies-which made others upset, eventhough we were in the same building and working for the same company."

"I had a wonderful boss, and can't think of a thing to change her!"

"I did many things...Graphics, Collateral, Designing, Creating, Drawing. Other artist were fun to work with. Pay was good. I work near all the stores at 34th street."

"Don't stay long use it as a stepping stone to a better opportunity."
What don't you like about working at Haddad?
"They got rid of the best people and kept the crummy one's. Management did now what was going on most of the time. It was a company divided not one brand."
What suggestions do you have for management?
"I would look closer at the employees I currently have and advance people from withing.I would put more attention to details at meetings and really listen to what my employees have to say.I would also treat my departments as equals not separate entities.I would also keep my best sales people happy."

"Communicating thru go to meetings weekly or when ever needed. I loved working from home. I put more than 40 hour in because I loved the work and want to make sure all deadlines were met"

"Always be honest and upfront with questions.Keep communication open and ask questions if the business plan is not clear."

"Our whole group got layed off due to project being put on hold."

"Managment was great to work with. I loved their business plan and hope more comapnies would follow this."

"Nice location. I was on the 47th floor and the views were stellar!"

"It's a revolving door. Watch your back."

"The company has a poor management model with high turnover, threats and X-management techniques."

"Move away from X-management which believes most employees are motivated by fear, and move toward Y-management model which motivates employees from within. Morale is very low."

"My tip to others is that please make sure you are getting pay enough for the position you perform."

"It was a very small firm and the work that I performed wasnt related to architectural field. I want to work where I can receive vast experience in architectural field and move-up with the company."

"Be prepared to be micro-managed by people that do not understand what you do."

"Many times the final product was dictated by people with no design or marketing experience"

"Trust in the people you hire for their expertise, stay away from the outside consultants."

"Too small and I feel gradually get no room for grow your vision and skills"

"It is good to have previous experience in graphic design programs and to have a strong portfolio."

"I don't like the organization of the company at times. Since it is a University setting there are so many events that need designs created. There may be confusion between student designers of who is doing what project."
