"People at all working levels were very cooperative and easy to work with."

"If you want to be a contractor all your life more power to you. Otherwise don't take the job as a contractor, or start looking for a new one as soon as you start work."
What don't you like about working at General Dynamics?
"With 20 years of airplane experience I had to settle for contractor status while people who never saw the inside of an airframe before got hired as direct. Then they treated me like a second class citizen and I was laid off when nobody else in the group got hit."
What suggestions do you have for management?
"Get real guys. You have a wonderful product and wonderful people working there. Give us a chance to be part of the team. That is all I ever asked."

"The unusual circumstances. Project development."

"Think about the people and deadlines and how many it takes to complete a task."
"It was a good place to start my career, but those divisions closed up in San Diego in the '80s."
