"The people. The people I worked with were sharp technically and very helpful to work with. They have been the best team I have ever worked with to date."

"Some of the older employees don't value and mentor the younger employees. This is critical to maintain a top notch workforce."

"Value your younger and less experienced employees. When I left there was roughly 100 younger employees that didn't feel valued enough at GDC4S."

"Listen to your employees, your government POC is not always right. Have faith that you hired the right person for the position."

"It was large corporate entity bought Itronix without much concern for its employees when revenue estimates were not met by its other asset companies."

"Consider/acknowledge subordinate suggestions."

"Once hired, do not hesitate to complain, however high you should go up the hierarchy, to denounce any non-sensical business decision."

"Too much petty politics among upper management, they took decisions that were detrimental to the success of the company."

"Listen to the engineers. Stop imposing fanciful, unpractical technical solutions."

"For the most part very challenging--in a good way. It depends on which GD unit you work for though, due to differing leadership styles."

"Great subject matter experts. Wide variety of technical challenges. As a large DoD contractor, GD is a great place to work and learn."

"Be sure you understand the subject matter you are applying for because SMEs in the company are well-known and respected."

"Inconsistent leadership styles. Too much military focus--leads to lack of familiarity in managing civilians."

"Learn how to shelve the military style in favor of civilian style."
