"I worked with Dell for 2 years and found the people good to work with and intelligent. The expectations were realistic but they expected you to work hard and to continue to improve as an employee and as a person. Dell was a good company to work for and was always trying to make my job easier and better."

"Local office is based on Dell purchase of Credant Technologies in 2012. This is a small family-like environment, with some of the best engineers, and excellent people to be found."

"Dell is a leading company in PC industry. It has a great culture and ethics. Opportunity is good for non-technical jobs. For technical jobs, Dell relies on ODM for 90% of design work. Engineer in Dell normally doesn't require real work and thus is not a perfect work space if you are seeking to really work on things."

"I worked at Dell/EMC for over 8 years. Originally with EMC. Good pay and good benefits. Great teamwork and work environment. Large company so it takes a long time to influence or incorporate change. There was a lot of turn at high level positions which impacted direction of technology and projects. Management has a hard time creating and providing clear direction. Since the acquisition from Dell, you are required to develop on Dell products so if you prefer to develop on Macs you will have to make the transition to PC."
