"I worked for Dell for 7 years after my company was acquired. Dell is a very large organization with great benefits. There is constant change within Dell and continual layoffs and re-orgs. If you have a good network of people in your corner you will be safe. But you have to earn your relationships here."

"Overall Dell is a great company to work for with a lot of goals and ambitions ahead of it after the privatization. The competition is pretty stiff for promotions and salary increases as the peers in the workforce are very skilled and intelligent. There is a new spirit of entrepreneurship within the company that has opened the door for people to make a name for themselves, but must invest significant effort to achieve it."
