"I worked for Dell for 7 years after my company was acquired. Dell is a very large organization with great benefits. There is constant change within Dell and continual layoffs and re-orgs. If you have a good network of people in your corner you will be safe. But you have to earn your relationships here."

"I worked for Dell, Inc and unfortunately was laid off as a result of a 10 to 15% across the board. Overall, not a bad company to work for regardless of being laid off. I think that in next few years, they will be a better company to work for."

"I would not recommend working for Dell at this time. This company is struggling to find its place in the market, and is extremely slow to react to market conditions. Processes are cumbersome and there doesn't seem to be any interest in fixing issues or bettering them. Layer up on layer of sales reps make it confusing for the customer on who they should be actually dealing with at any given time. Territory changes are a constant and customers suffer because of it."
