"I dislike every year wondering whom I had to let go from my team. Cisco always employed what is called the top people in the industry, meaning that we as managers needed to weed out the ones that did not belong, even though they might be still 'good'."

"This part of Cisco was SA (Scientific Atlanta) and has not really been brought into Cisco. It has too many silos still left over from SA and little kingdoms."

"Clean house at Cisco in Atlanta. They have begun this process, but it has taken them way too long. (SA was bought over seven years ago.)"
