"This is a place for employees to be advanced in their working experience. It is very high tech. Cisco provides a lot of training courses."

"Cisco only hires top notch people since there is a long line of candidates. Be confident and know what you are talking about. Never lie in your resume. It is very embarrassing if they find out. I saw someone left within three weeks."

What don't you like about working at Cisco Systems?

"Supervisors are always in the meetings, and you never get a chance to communicate till someone leaves."

What suggestions do you have for management?

"Get trained in time management. Communication with subordinates is as important as reporting level."

"I like the great benefits. Some, but not many, departments or business units are worth the chance."

"Be sure the highly politically charged do what I say even if it's wrong or immoral attitude is something you can live with."

"You pay for it in stress, political haggling, autocratic management, and ridiculous EPM (employee performance management), which rates on what you aspire to do and not what you can do. If you don't aspire to higher levels, you get managed out."

"Try be humanistic and stop replacing American engineers with slave labor from India, China, etc."
