"There was very often a change in high management so there was so many ideas that people get confused all the time."

"Think before you give the same orders, if did not work the last 10 times, you will get the same results in the future."

"Be weary when they say they have good training. They don't."

"It would benefit them if they hired managers who know a bit about the industry and were't total jerks to their employees."

"Be honest, be yourself and do not over promise and under deliver."

"I loved my job at CIGNA, unfortunately they had cut backs which affected my entire department. They outsourced our jobs."

"I had a great manager. He had an open door policy. He was very supportive of our team."

What do you like about working at CIGNA?

"Working for CIGNA in the Group Insurance division was a great experience. I learned how to work with multiple projects, communicate with sales teams, understand contracts, and balance every day living."

Do you have any tips for others interviewing with this company?

"Sometimes it can be very helpful if you end up coming prepared for an entire day interview with multiple people. Also, if you don't know how to improvise with strange questions or mathematics in a heartbeat, this place might not be for you (if you pursue underwriting or actuarial studies)."

What don't you like about working at CIGNA?

"Sometimes good sales people were fired for under-achieving, even though they brought some profitability to the company. There was also tight room for advancement."

What suggestions do you have for management?

"My managers were great to work with, and very team oriented, spare one. For my one manager who didn't make the list, I'd say he needs to take a little more time, not rush through things, and work better with other managers."

"Very hectic."
