"The company I enjoyed about the best was overtime. Also my mentor/boss is the reason why I stayed with Sprint."

"Good luck... can be a great company. But when it comes to support or coaching there is none. Take your experiences and put them to work at Sprint. You don't learn much."

"Structure/support/training, and upper management needs to know how to stop micro managing."

"Better training and on-boarding for new employees, also need more support for your managers and also employees."

"I love my coworkers, employees, customers, and job responsibilities. I love the authority and autonomy I have in making business decisions that affect the Company, my sales quota, and customer satisfaction."

"AT&T has a very insignificant focus on employee morale that new managers will have to embrace and execute upon in order to advance within the company. If you have a strong moral code and conscience that you are unwilling to compromise for a paycheck, this may not be the job for you."
What don't you like about working at AT&T?
"I do not like or morally and ethically agree with upper managements style of management. They are incredibly deceitful and manipulative. They believe in motivating by fear, threats, deceit, and manipulation. If a manager, such as myself, has moral or ethical conflicts with this type of management style their advancement opportunities immediately become incredibly insignificant. I also do not like the amount of authority or autonomy I have in making decisions about or disciplining employees."
What suggestions do you have for management?
"I highly recommend looking into using positive reinforcement and relationship building techniques to motive employees. A strong focus on employee morale produces happy and exponentially more productive employees long term."

"Acknowledge the accomplishments of associates more often rather than focus on the negative aspects."

"Learn to multi-task, be calm in chaos, change to ever-changing work demands, work with limited resources."

"Get everything in writing and document everything and go in thinking they will not help."

"Changing directives too much, not enough follow through or training - all on your own on the job to figure things out, too many company initiatives not finished and left undone, asked to perform tasks and then have hands tied to perform them."

"just make employees do there job and stop having excuses for everything and follow through with company directives, do what you say you are going to do."

"I liked the fact that I built my location from the ground up and had great employees that worked hard for me."

"To preshop the store you are applying to and see how it is run."

"That there are no benefits for employees that put in 40+ hours per week."

"Keep a closer eye on how many hours the store managers are putting in."
What do you like about working at Sears?
"I like the sales and interacting with the customers. I also like the training of the sales associates and seeing their progress."
What don't you like about working at Sears?
"The hours were very long. Also, I didn't like the position the store was in. We had to work under the pressure of knowing the store might be closed at some point."

"Create a more professional environment for the sales associates. This would translate into a better rapport with the customers."
