"Owners. Terribly disconnected with all employees. Extremely cheap, very little morale due specifically to owners."

"Owners need to get with the program you have very little respect from every single employee, upper mmt included."

"I have a good boss. I like the fact that I am not micromanaged."
Do you have any tips for others interviewing with this company?
"You have to really like doing the work, because you won't be highly paid. You don't get to take a lot of time off, due to the low amount of hours given to the stores."
What don't you like about working at PETCO?
"The pay for internal promotions is much lower than outside hires. Bonuses are much lower than other retailers. The company does not conduct random or pre-employment drug screening. The cost for medical insurance is very high."
What suggestions do you have for management?
"Start drug screening, and pay competitive wages for internal promotions."

"It's a large growing company with multiple locations all over the U.S."

"The management and staff at some locations were not dedicated to their job."

"That just as we had set up the processes and procedures and were establishing the same in Canada and India, the call center was moved to India."

"If the company still exists to advise new hires what the plans were in terms of location."

"Be honest and always look your best, the store may sell video games but they only hire responsible associates."

"The company does not remove associates up the chain of command. It makes it nearly impossible to move up."

"I get great satisfaction when I help others achieve their goal. In addition I enjoy the benefits and potential for growth and opportunity."

"You have to get personal about the team you will be working with, so ask about the general feel for environment. What type of personality does the interviewer feel would be best suited to join the team? What personality would compliment the manager and what is the manager's strengths? How important is growth and development to the interviewer?"

"If you are not here to kiss your bosses ass, you may as well give up on the great growth opportunities. It is not necessarily whether you are ready and have the talent to take advantage of growth opportunity but rather about luck of landing a great team and give in to the politics."

"Place more focus on the growth and development of talent. Assess the current Retail Channel Banking Center managers staff and determine whether they are there to really foster the environment the company is trying to convey or are they there to self serve themselves."

"I loved the name recognition. Whether people love it or hate it, they knew who WF was and it made finding opportunities somewhat easier."

"I would encourage people to bone up on their skill set, and make sure they have very thick skin to be able to handle the sales pressure that is involved. I think a lot of people are blindsided by this upon hire."
What don't you like about working at Wells Fargo?
"My only complaint within the organization was sometimes it felt too big. It was frustrating not being able to help customers from beginning to end in some situations, due to the different divisions that would need to be involved."

"Upper management should spend more time in the branches they support. Due to the large volume of business and the sheer number of branches, it felt as though they lost touch with certain demographics."
