"I have worked for American Express Global Business Travel for over 27 years, I stayed so long because they are simply the best place to work. A large company with a family feel as the company is highly collaborative and ideas are welcome from every sector of the business family as they are always seeking improvements and best practices and appreciate the fact that their employees contribute to the success of the company."

"Leadership is not transparent. Great place to work overall. Many things to do and lots of amenities however sadly those in-house “initiatives” are not available to all when you look teams under a microscope. Or as individual cells."

"I am working for Amex since April 2014 and found it to be a very good company with strong culture and positive experience. For a big finance company it has adopted best practices for technology as well like Agile methodology, Cloud usage, Big data and machine learning. I have come across many of this fantastic tech and learned a lot."

"So much red tape and politics. Less about the goal and more about who is getting what"

"Overall I have worked for American Express for more than 10 years. I have held various positions during my tenure and I have learned valuable skills in each position. Each leader supported my growth and development. I obtained a degree while in a position not related to my degree. Once completed, I was able to parlay my degree into a position that was in my field. My growth has increased ever since!"

"I have worked for American Express since 2012 and it has turned into a toxic, discriminatory hostile environment largely due to lack of proper training of the Vendor staff who were converted to AMEX employees as people leaders. The cultural gaps between US and certain countries is a reality and poses a significant threat to the future of all American companies not just AMEX. Success can be achieved without compromising on diversity, equality and fair treatment."
