"The company's financial situation at this time is poor, so I would recommend interviewing elsewhere."

"Company discontinued product that I was hired to sell with no notice."

"Top management is located in Germany, so I do not have the opportunity to discuss anything."

"Working with my external and internal customers and seeing my external customers achieve their goal with the advertising plan I laid out by using print and internet yellow pages."

"Achieve your benchmarks and make objectives and be prepared for marketing plan changes all the time."

"From the District Manager and above not having any outside sales experience and telling the sales crew how to sell this product."
What suggestions do you have for management?
"I wouldn't have come in and laid off half the sales force, artists, customer, credit and support clerks. I wouldn't have listened to a company that said to do that. I would have looked at my management team first."

"I liked the other account executives and our support staff and some managers."

"Make sure you hit your benchmarks and get your assignment done on time."
What don't you like about working at AT&T?
"Upper management not having any outside sales experience, including the vice-president. Never got our assignments when promised, no support for the internal customer."
What suggestions do you have for management?
"I would figure out a way to keep my account executives and support staff happy, positive. I wouldn't come in and lay off at least half the people, and make sure the general manager and vice-president had plenty of outsides sales experience."

"The employees, Meeting and helping customers achieve their advertising goals with the use of print and internet media."

"Be prepared to work hard . Get your revenue done by the benchmarks."
What don't you like about working at AT&T?
"No support from general manager or vice president, sales managers kept looking over the shoulder waiting to get fired. Putting people in positions that shouldn't be in those positions. General manager felt threatened by me because I was chief steward, so he would try to find issues with me instead of helping myself and everybody else find a solution. Had no idea what my job entailed."
What suggestions do you have for management?
"If I was CEO I would have put a district manager and vice president that had outside selling experience in our office, a district manager that was not afraid to speak up when we didn't get our assignments when promised and one that supported the internal customer."

"I was sought after to continue my national long form sales experience with the lead company in the industry"

"Must be positive, have strong sales experience and drive to succeed"

"The timing this position came to me was not perfect, unfortunately that became the ultimate reason the fit was not right"

"The people I got to work with made it a feel good environment. We had a young staff so it was fun to bounce ideas of one another to get better results."

"Remember this is an entry level job so don't plan on any promotions."

"No real growth within the company. As well as the expectations are way out of reach on different levels."

"I like flexible work hours. I get to choose my own hours."

"Be honest. Ask about the rate of turnover. Ask how many hours people work each week."

"Compensation is commission only. People are expected to work on weekends."

"I would reconsider how people are compensated. I would also look into how paperwork gets lost."

"2012 is a little late to get into the yellowpages industry"

"No one uses the Yellowpages and everyone is moving to the internet."

"More one on ones with the reps and training needs to be updated"

"I like the work from home autonomy and I very much like my coworkers and lower to mid level management. The people are terrific and the teamwork is gratifying."

"Don't the future is not bright for the company or its employees. This company needs total retrenchment and only knows how to do more of the same which gets them more of the same, diminishing success."
What don't you like about working at Harte-Hanks?
"The company is not progressive and its vision very myopic and reactive. It will not invest in its self or its employees in a meaningful way hence its constant spiral downward."

"Listen to the people in the trenches. Value the people that work for you. Invest in marketing yourself and your products. Offer support to your sales staff and allow them to be a financial partner in therI own success. Create incetives not threats."

"AT&T was nice, professional environment. I was able to grow my career skills and was not limited to my position, but was rather encouraged to grow and succeed."

"Be honest. AT&T checks everything that is submitted, so trying to exaggerate or falsify any information will backfire."

"Sometimes it was a little difficult to get some staff members to step out of their comfort zones and do something that had not been done before."

"Encourage creativity and open thinking when it comes to any position."
