"Don't waste your time! Don't believe all the good things they tell you."
What don't you like about working at Walgreens?
"Employers. They treat employees like defective merchandise that has no value. District 219 is the worst, that is Los Angeles Area. Assistant Managers are treated like machines, most of the time breaks are denied. In fact the company is getting suited 7.5 millions on behalf of the assistant managers settlement taking place on January 2010 for breaking labor laws."

"Hello! You cannot have an open door policy with a closed mind."

"The company as a whole has potential for career advancement."

"If you want to work for a company where you don't have to do your job correctly and you brown nose your District Manager with sales, then you are in the right place."
What don't you like about working at Walgreens?
"Career advancement is all in what or how many managers you are friends with. Because the managers are who review you to the District Manager for advancement. Everyone should be able to work close to home and not allow managers to pick there friends to work with. I cannot work at the store next to my house because the manager is not friends with me and he chose an EXA he is friends with."
What suggestions do you have for management?
"It does not matter... the managers are the king and queens of the store and they are allowed to be rude to you if you are not friends with them. I am not coming to work to brown nose my manager. I want to come to work and be noticed for once of my hard work."

"Improve security, get rid of employees with bad attitudes and work ethics, and try to maximize efficiency of store, not end of year bonuses."

"Don't believe the window dressing . It is as phony as the representatives."

"Upper management say one thing and do another behind each other's back. Then the district managers won't back up their store managers. The hours worked by the store manager and executive assistant manager are ridiculously long for the measly compensation."

"When the economy improves look for employment elsewhere."
