"Pay was slightly above average for the industry. Lot's of customer interaction."

Do you have any tips for others interviewing with this company?

"If you can deal with bad hours and possibly being stuck in the same position while upper management keeps you in limbo about promotions and really enjoy retail and don't mind not having a life, then Walgreens isn't that bad a place. I just didn't enjoy it. Pays fairly well for retail, but management isn't flexible."

What don't you like about working at Walgreens?

"Treat employees like peons. Not flexible with schedules. Company policies seem fluid from district to district with DM's deciding what they want regardless of corporate policy."

"Treat employees better. People don't just want a mindless deadend job. They want to feel like they have meaning in their jobs. They want to feel like there's opportunity within the system, and that wasn't very well communicated. Management has too much of an elitist/separatist attitude with low-level employees."
