"I love it. Great opportunities and a family forever."
"I have loved my time in the Navy and leaving is bitter sweet. However it is time for the chapter in my life to pursue something I want to do for myself and my family."
"Easy to use, good interface between Mobil device and home computer"
"Worked as a surface warfare officer for 5 years in the Navy. They are the managers and leaders of the fleet and deal with a wide range of technical, personnel issues. There is great emphasis on solving unstructured problems and maximizing the performance of teams."
"I loved everyday of the 25 years I spent in the Navy and I would do it all over again."
"Working in the military varies for many people because there are so many jobs. Do your research before you pick one and do NOT let your recruiter persuade you to pick something else."
"A great job where you really have an opportunity to make a difference."
"I've worked for the Navy my entire adult life. For the first ten years, it was submarines and nuclear power. For the last eleven years, it has been the Civil Engineer Corps and the Seabees. The latter period is, without hesitation, my favorite. The caliber of people in the CEC and Seabees is above reproach. The level of integrity, character, and teamwork is something I have been very privileged to see and experience."
"If you want to do meaningful work and develop an abundance of skills, this could be a great career or a stepping stone on your career development grow."
"I've been in the U.S. Navy for 23 years and it has been a pleasurable experience. I have enjoyed leading up and down the company structure while still maintaining the ability to mentor all types of people. I would recommend this opportunity for anyone."
"I've worked for the Navy for over seven years with several types of leadership. My overall time severing my country has been good. Now it is time to settle down and spend time with my family. In military we learn to adapt and overcome challenges but that also requires our families to o the same. For the service member it may be easy but for his or her family it has proven to be a challenge"
"Best decision I made. Fastest way to stability and independence."
"I first started this job back in March of 2018 and I was fresh out of college with a Computer Engineering degree. This has been my first and only “real” engineering job and I have to say, the experience has been phenomenal. Working in the government you get to travel and learn as much as you desire! They encourage you to get your masters and are willing to pay for it! Don’t like what you are currently working on? You can freely rotate to anywhere you desire within the Navy. For example, when i was first hired on I was doing more systems engineering(aka project management), but what I really wanted to be hands on with software engineering. So, I started a rotation where I was developing a government owned Android application that lasted nearly a year. Also, I just finished a 4 month rotation where I was developing a plugin for a desktop application."
"I have served in the United States Navy for over 22 years and it has been the adventure of a lifetime. I have seen the world, improved my education through multiple programs, learned to lead young men and women from all walks of life through the toughest of circumstances. The US Navy was an experience that improved every aspect of my life. I would recommend it for anyone looking to be part of something bigger than themselves."
"Great benefits, and hard work!"
