"Think twice! You've been warned. I cannot tell you how many people feel the same way I feel but continues to stay in because of financial security. I prefer dangerous freedom over peaceful slavery - Thomas Jefferson."

"It's too bureaucratic, has no incentive to be economically efficient, wasteful, does not value its enlisted sailors, have way too many unqualified personnel in its management, and does not value uniqueness. The culture is too collectivist, simply not for me."

"Get rid of your bureaucrats and hire efficient and innovative businessmen. Quit being wasteful with tax payers' dollars."

"In port the hours are great. There are great benefits also."

"It's all about the paperwork. Stick with it and listen to the recruiter."

"At sea you could be gone for 7 months at a time."

"They need to treat the lower enlisted with more respect and listen to them more."

"What do you like about working at my current job is the ability to work independently (trust from employers) and the people I work with. It's great to work with people that care about their company and are doing great jobs."

"The only thing I don't like about the current company I work for is the commute is rather far from my residence."

"Our Management is rather fair and values the employee opinions. I have no suggestions other than keep up the good work."

"Training opportunities are in decline. Work has gone from operator/technician to operator only."

"Encourage independent education for subordinates. Encourage use of GI and 911 Bill early in career."
