"The United States Navy is generally a good environment. The pay is equal to the work that is accomplished. Considering that the military gives you a home, medical, dental, extra pay, and vacation time, the military is an easy life. The downside is favoritism, unrealistic advancement requirements, and misuse of funds."

"Think twice! You've been warned. I cannot tell you how many people feel the same way I feel but continues to stay in because of financial security. I prefer dangerous freedom over peaceful slavery - Thomas Jefferson."

What don't you like about working at United States Navy?

"It's too bureaucratic, has no incentive to be economically efficient, wasteful, does not value its enlisted sailors, have way too many unqualified personnel in its management, and does not value uniqueness. The culture is too collectivist, simply not for me."

What suggestions do you have for management?

"Get rid of your bureaucrats and hire efficient and innovative businessmen. Quit being wasteful with tax payers' dollars."
