What do you like about working at United States Navy?

"I loved the structured environment. Being able to teach a class without supervision was a great motivation piece. The trust of management was immediately seen and appreciated and I never let them down."

"Everyone is different, the military is not for everyone. There are a lot of benefits, I loved my time serving, but talk to others before joining."

What don't you like about working at United States Navy?

"The military had a lot of red tape and the leaders were primarily focused on their own careers. There was a need for constant busy work that I thought was a waste of time and resources."

What suggestions do you have for management?

"I would suggest to take some time for your subordinates, you need them like they need you to be a good leader, listen to what they say before dismissing it."

"There are a lot of good jobs in the Navy, but working in a nuclear propulsion plant is not one of them. Find a job that still gives you time to live a life."

"The command looks out for their best interest and not the interest of the people they are supposed to support. Long days and hours."

"Stop over thinking everything. Keep it basic and get the job done right without all the needless run around."
