Considering that the military gives you a home, medical, dental, extra pay, and vacation time, the military is an easy life. The downside is favoritism, unrealistic advancement requirements, and misuse of funds."

"? Researched and organized safety briefs for repair procedures for various nuclear systems and components. Ensuring that all necessary technical, radiological, and operational requirements are met. ? Successfully inventoried and maintained over 500 ship’s battery components and, over a 4-week period, streamlined reinstallation of the components on the boat which resulted in saving 284 man-hours. ? Extensive experience diagnosing and isolating malfunctions in electrical systems, power generation units, and control systems using schematics, blueprints, and associated test equipment. ? Conducted preventative and corrective maintenance on the ship’s AC / DC electrical distribution system, generators, regulators, controllers, motors, circuit breakers and nuclear electrical systems. ? Introduced innovative maintenance techniques to shipyard vendors, resulting in significant cost and man-hour savings. Extensive use of schematics, technical manuals and safety procedures. ? Designed and implemented a System Expert program which trained ship’s personnel to manage schedule, and track vital submarine systems as they were removed, repaired, and restored to service throughout the shipyard availability."
