"I liked learning about a new spacecraft and ground systems."

"Since Honeywell is such a large corporation, the work environment varies greatly. Check with the local division that you will be working at."
What don't you like about working at Honeywell?
"I did not like the routine operations since this was an existing spacecraft."

"The management did not have much flexibility because this was an existing spacecraft."

"I loved being able to work on (arguably) the greatest fighter jet in the world."

"Learn the chain of command, document all communications and activities, and push hard to make ideas acknowledged."
What don't you like about working at Lockheed Martin?
"The rigidity of government contracting and the 'this is how we've always done things' mentality made it difficult to foster new ideas using new technologies."

"I'd suggest that management become more apt to supply its workers with current computing tools and equipment on a more timely basis."

"It's a great culture, with a well-established, friendly environment. There is good growth opportunity."

"I enjoyed creating smulation programs from the data available which wasn't always complete."

"Nice coworkers. Great benefits. Treats people like family. CEO cares but is too busy to really understand what is happening below him."

"Don't work there unless you already have strong ties there."

"Caters to pet employees and not outsiders. Peformance doesn't matter. It seems to be about who you know and not if you are competent."

"Get rid of your poor peformers instead of promoting them. The egos in the services management is killing your business."

"The lack of being provided training opportunities and upward mobility. I usually teach myself things but it's very discouraging when the company (especially the DoD) can't provide training to what they consider their BEST employees."

"For my current management, focus on training those who get the work done on a regular basis and listen to suggestions and to not promise the impossible."
