"The kind of team and people I worked with. There were few people who were good but others were not encouraging enough."

"There are too many employees and not everyone has a chance to make a change."

"I like founder's philosophy. I really respect his vision of company should be."

"Company's culture is always change. Because president is sent from Japan every 4 years. If you don't believe that company is the place only making profit, I can't recommend especially now."

"Previous executive management mismanaged the company. And currently, company has very difficult time. Quite a lot of people are ether fired or force to quit."

"They need to change the worker's mind setting. It seems that they only forces P/L. This is only temporary solution."

"don't stay in one position too long. Move around, if possible."

"organizational restructuring has spawned early retirement, layoffs, and resignations. Too many people out the door too quickly. The ones left behind are getting overloaded."

"more communication directed to employees and not just about the transformation of the company."

"Consluting opportunity and get opportunity to know about new and upcoming technology in market."

"Just focus on the technology and try to know the subject in deeper level."

"Due to segregation didn't get much scope to dig into the core technology."

"To provide sandbox system to understand the new technology properly with full access, or create learning session internally and that should be cross project learning."

"The Richardson facility is dying at the expense of Cedar Rapids. Don't get caught in Cedar as it is a one horse town."
What don't you like about working at Rockwell Collins?
"Upper level management politics and the interference and problems they can cause without care. HR hides behind lawyers with some weasel policies that are well hidden."
What suggestions do you have for management?
"There are way too many chiefs and levels of management. Some have decision power where they shouldn't and others need to let go."

"I get to work with cool tools, interact with smart people. I get to work with people from many departments. I like that my job has very varied responsibilities. I like my boss, who has provided training for me."

"If you are driven and inspired easily, this is a great place to work because of the cool technologies used. If you are not inspired easily, then the opportunities can help make it so. This is a great place to work if you love IT."

"I don't get enough vacation days - maybe because it is located in America."

"I would make an optional flex-time work week. A flexible work week would be best."
