"The management at Canon was excellent. I had an extremely positive experience with the management. I would have preferred if management had challenged my abilities more often."

"I didn't have a traditional interview, I was hired by referral and doing business with them."
What don't you like about working at Voonami?
"no culture at all. No comradrie, nothing fun to break up the day. Very little chit chat/water cooler talk. It's pedal to the metal all the time. Supervisor is very passive aggressive, and doesn't like to be challenged in how he does things."

"Lighten up, have some fun now and again. Do team building activities."

"there is far more work than can be done in 40hrs. allow more paid hours to get the work done"

"Members of the team would take credit for what the team at Ft Hood did. We were called the 'A Team' for a reason. We got things done and correctly."

"It had a good environment. They were very supportive and very family oriented."

"Dress appropriately but relax. Its a very laid back environment so no reason to stress out."

"We were a small company, so there wasn't a lot of people to help if you get stuck or over your head on a project."

"Watch the projects you take on and how much work the engineers are doing. Sometimes its not good to have too much work to do."

"At my previous employer IBM I liked that even though it is very large company your managers do pay attention to the pride you put in your work and the ability to adapt and become part of a team.Here at Latisys primarily I like the people Interact in the daily basis and how different each day is. Every day and every weeks is different than the one before. I dont get bored because we are always busy and as new clients decide to use our Datacenter they bring new challenges or vendor requisites that allow us to play with the newest gear out there."

"The company usually does try to find a person that seems a good fit for the team, but also has the technical understand of the tools, apps or overall concept of how things are done. Since, Latisys do provide new employees with the training and basic foundation needed for them to perform their job from that point on it would depend on their performance and eagerness to leave or stay with the company."
What don't you like about working at Latisys?
"The one thing I dont like would have to be: not having a matching 401k."

"My suggestions are usually about space consolidation, virtualization opportunities, updating processes or suggesting how our developers can automate a manual task to prevent errors or save us time."

"Different challenges. Can be rewarding when you resolve issues or complete tasks."

"Check the fine print on the benefits. Get a well defined job description. Understand the level of support you are likely to get (low)"

"Too disorganized. Not enough resources. Some people won't listen to ideas or advice."
