"I've worked for NGC for 3 years, 2 as an intern and 1 as an employee. The company supports its employees and pays for school as well as having deals with schools, so you can get your masters on campus with classes on the off Fridays. The 9/80 work week is great and they shut down from Christmas to New Year's every year by using all the floating holidays then."

What do you like about working at Northrop Grumman?

"I gained a lot of knowledge and worked with some great team members and we always got the job done without issues."

"Put on a smile and make sure you know what you are talking about."

What don't you like about working at Northrop Grumman?

"Members of the team would take credit for what the team at Ft Hood did. We were called the 'A Team' for a reason. We got things done and correctly."

What suggestions do you have for management?

"Keep pushing the employees to do more education wise and career wise. Leave no employee left behind."

"Stable career but not too challenging and a little sluggish in the software department."

"It had a pretty laid back culture and very friendly people always willing to help you out."

Do you have any tips for others interviewing with this company?

"Location is everything and each sector has a completely different vibe to it. I was pleased with the El Segundo location but not so much with the Azuza location."

What don't you like about working at Northrop Grumman?

"The software development process/cycle was a little too slow and depended on large contracts that took forever to be won."

What suggestions do you have for management?

"I would have liked to have gotten to know my manager in a large company like this a little more. I was there for 3 years roughly and they kept restructuring over and over until I had gone through 5 managers."
