"Be yourself. Be talkative and open. Don't clam up. Given that you're committing yourself to being in the building almost as much as being in your own home, make friends."

"The political views of the executive staff don't match mine."

"Management's style is very hands-on at first because it has to be. Healthcare is personal. I wish I could change the political views of the CEOs but I can't."

"Pot lucks - too many layoffs and re organizing, other than that it's a great place to work."

"Lots of office politics. Party, play, and brown nose with the right people and you are on the road to success."

"A day at the office was: come in, sit down, and do as you are told, no questions asked. Management would ask for suggestion to improve department protocol, procedures, etc.; however, suggestions were rarely acknowledged and/or discussed."
