Do you have any tips for others interviewing with this company?
"You've all heard of the brutal day-long interview process at companies like Microsoft and Google. Having been a part of the interview loop, I can tell you that it's all... true. It's very grueling and you need to be prepared."
What don't you like about working at Microsoft?
"Career movement is limiting after a certain point - logjam in higher management levels."
What suggestions do you have for management?
"Spin out R&D projects sooner. There are lots of very innovative things that people have created - they can be utilized in new products for consumers."

"I've worked at Microsoft for 5 years. 2 years as a contractor and 3 years full-time. My biggest gripe with the company is the way they set up their annual reviews. They pit team members against each other and that creates a necessarily hostile environment to work in."

"Applying online was very difficult and was erroring out since a couple of days."
What don't you like about working at Microsoft?
"I have no dislikes, but on a lighter vein, a couple of times they ran out of the drinks in the cafe. :)"

"Management was absolutely fine, and there were no suggestions or complaints."
"I've worked for Microsoft for 4 years in various roles, and I have greatly enjoyed my time here. It has been a good opportunity to increase my skills, gain exposure to various parts of the business, and build my resume. The work being done is compelling and my team is a pleasure to work with.
