"JPM Chase is very profitable and competitive with salary. Benefits are not as good as other financial firms. There is a lot of movement but usually lateral."
"I am working with them since 2009. Good place to learn business domain, not a place if you consider yourself technologist. Lots of paperwork and bureaucracy, so you need to understand them to get your job done."
"POS: The people are great. You can approach anyone you want to talk to, network with colleagues through a quick search. Lunch breaks are real. NEG: The job is repetitive despite looking at a different business area every 3-4 months. There are many layers of clearance from the planning to final execution. Slow advancement opportunities and below average pay. The employees are very silo (given the 270k global employees), and may require a lot of back and forth to get to the appropriate contact."
"GOOD company. I will recommend."
"Huge overgrown firm with little communication between groups. Politics drives decisions and not business deliverables. Employees and clients suffer as a result."
"Great initial opportunity. Good management and training."
"I have worked for JPM for 7 years. I have grown from a consumer Banking Relationship Banker to a well experienced VP Relationship Manager. JPM is a leader in its space and a great company to work for. I have had the opportunity to learn, teach and grow within the organization."
"I've worked at JPMorgan Chase for 4.5 years now and have found it's size to be a challenge to get things done. I am always focused on delivery and it has been frustrating not being able to deliver."
"Great place to work for the driven professional. Not a great work/life balance, but working hard there will get you FAR. Top notch environment and employee resources. In the epicenter of NYC, so much to do and see. Loved working here!"
"Strong pay, strong culture of success, very top heavy so advancing might be difficult."
"Great experience in quantitative strategy on credit derivatives products."
