What do you like about working at Johnson Controls?

"I had a great time in 2-3 months which supposed to be permanent job in Johnson Control. The entire department was vanished along with all the newly hired engineers due to cancellation of a joint effort contract with an another prime contractor on a large scale Government Contract."

Do you have any tips for others interviewing with this company?

"If offer presented to an employee, Asked them if they are sure if the contract last long to make a plan!"

What don't you like about working at Johnson Controls?

"At the time, commute."

"When you hire employer, make sure to secure job for at least 2-3 years. Employers make a hard decision when they move to Jonson Control and accept your offer."

"I saw a lot of people be let go from job elimanation. One man had spent his entire carreer there and was one year from retireing. I did not care much for that, it could be me later. Not secure."

"Promote from within. Better installation before turning over to the service department."

"That was just my experience and yours can be very different. Johnson Controls is a good company. Lower management may take a better likeing to you."

"Working 6-7 days at 10-12 hours. Some of those days were only because one group was behind and it was only fair that everyone work too. Yet, people from a different department that do that type of work were never called to bring the job up to speed. I was told just appreciate the overtime"
