"There is not anything I don't like about working at the company."

What do you like about working at Johnson Controls?

"When things were going good, the management said Our people are our greatest assets. When things went downhill, the management sold their greatest assets - its people were laid off, with out regard to their long years of service. Management's behaviour was outrageous and legally questionable. H.R, looked the other way all because they wanted to cut people for dollars. A better option would have been to cut all bonuses & management benifits such as cars, relocation cost, golden parachutes, coffin assurances to board members. I think after that cut salaries across the board by 10% or more as the situation dictated. Why hire new Directors, company was top heavy and had more Chiefs than Indians."

Do you have any tips for others interviewing with this company?

"There is no loyalty to the people. Do not take for granted the years of hard work. They don't care. What have you done for me lately & even then it does not matter."

What don't you like about working at Johnson Controls?

"The management sucked. Non qualiified Directors were brought in who were political, & found faults even where there were none. I was personally asked to put a lot of pressure on minority lady who had just come back from medical leave and to do my boss's dirty work, which I refused and then it was my turn in the barrelr. There was a very hostile environment. H.R. did not care. Even after working 12 plus hours daily, I was not meeting their performance expectation while the contract people who were paid less were still at their jobs. All because of the dollars."

What suggestions do you have for management?

"Why were the benefits and bonuses of Board Members and V.P.s curtailed Why were new V.P.s & Directors hired knowliong the sales were flat or going down Company was already top heavy and wev had more Chiefs than Indians. Why weren't the V.P.s let go and make the company less top heavy. For every V.P. the company could have kept atleast 10 working people. Why were V.P.s who did not even have citizenship kept And U.S. citizens let go. Why was the organization not flattened at the top Why weren't the contract people let go before loyal 20 plus salaried person Why was an across the board cut top to down proposed rather than cutting out people that did the actual work."

"I worked 10 years at that company. Best people, best experience I gained from that company."

"If I have a chance to go back to that company, I will do everything to get back."

"I don't have anything that I don't like about this company. If company wasn't not downsized people, I will be still working at that company, and be the happiest person in world."

"This company has the best management that I have seen in my working experience in USA.They manage company so well, so in current depression time this company still doing well."
