"The most enjoyable aspect of IKON is the people. The teams I have built in the marketplace are strong, friendly and quality focused. I also enjoy the challenge of my current position. On any given day I do not know what I am going to encounter and it is good to not have to perform the same tasks day in day out."

"Be honest, have an explanation for decisions and don't be afraid to admit ignorance or inexperience as long as you have the ability to learn and find the answer."

What don't you like about working at IKON Office Solutions?

"At this point in my career with IKON the biggest downfall is I have reached a plateau. While I have had great success and moved up quickly, the opportunities for continued advancement are minimal. Another dislike of IKON is the inconsistency in reporting structure. Over the past three years I have had a total of four different direct supervisors."

What suggestions do you have for management?

"Communication is key. Keeping employees abreast of situations, changes and expectations will keep them engaged and driven to succeed. Also, employees need to receive positive feedback. A good job or job well done will go a long way in motivating individuals to continue exceptional performance."

"Ask the really hard questions in an interview if you haven't read my comments - tenure, opportunity and then run from any IKON offer!"

What don't you like about working at IKON Office Solutions?

"There was no vision and no care taken for individual employees' long term goals by the senior management group. IKON is a pyramid scheme at its best - the top are the only ones who truly benefit from the labors and skill of those below them, without being accountable to their own inadequacies. IKON can't be saved by the Ricoh buyout - another pathetic organization to not consider when looking for a career."

"Get your resumes ready because you will soon be history from IKON! Likes rats from a sinking ship..."
