"Generally speaking, I like the freedom to do your job, assuming the manager of the week lets you."

"Honestly, unless you are out of options, don't even apply, There is a reason Ikon and Ricoh have tanked more and more recently. Soon there will be nobody there who actually has the capability to keep the wheels turning. Instead, it will be a sea of poor management trying to figure out how to put the bits in the the end of the screwdriver between golf tournaments."

What don't you like about working at IKON Office Solutions?

"The technology that you're forced to employ slows you down dramatically. There are also a great many managers who shouldn't have a job, let alone a management job here, due to moral issues. It's the good ole' boy situation, unfortunately."

What suggestions do you have for management?

"All the good managers that were in the area I worked in were also left to fend without a job. The only managers left are all golf buddies who have managed to keep their jobs despite doing nothing of benefit to anyone."

"Close to light rail. Good view of downtown. Lots of computers at my disposal."

"Find someplace else to work unless you like being overlooked for your accomplishments."

"Poor management. Policies not adhered to by everybody. If you are liked by management you can get away with just about anything."

"Fire most middle to upper managers. If a policy is made then stick to it for everybody."

"I liked the variety. No two sites were the same. Every day was challenging and rewarding."

"Be honest. Have good eye contact and high energy, with a willingness to work."

"I disliked driving from site to site because of gas mileage and wear and tear on my car."

"Have site managers allocate more time for cross training and advancement training."

"I absolutely loved everything about working for Ikon. The management was exceptional, co-workers, environment."

"This division no longer exists. However, I would have recommended for them to stay positive and patient. Put their best foot forward. If they have the required experience, Ikon would have found a position for them."

"I did not like that Ikon decided to close the division I worked for. I would have worked here until I retired if that decision had not been made."

"I made suggestions day in and day out, as it pertained to my customers' needs and requirements."

"Growth opportunities were available to everyone. Personal and professional experiences were second to none."
