"IKON Office Solutions was in a problem mode in 2000 in the Jefferson, Lewis, and St. Lawrence County areas, as two of its previous employees left and opened a similar business, and captured a majority of the customers. It was downsized prior to IKON leaving the Watertown area."

"Every day brought a new experience and enjoyment through the outside sales position. My team was a top producing team and we played as hard as we worked. The opportunity there afforded me a great deal of professional sales education."

"Unfortunately, they were a newer company during my employment there, and much of their billing and administrative functions were in need of stabilizing. Customer satisfaction was very low during my employment there due to billing."

"Work hard to make the systems extremely responsive to client needs so that customer retention remains high."

"No consideration for the support staff. No loyalty to employees. Upper management was not open to suggestions or ideas from anyone except other management employees."

"Realize you don't work at Ikon by yourself,show some concern for the employees."

"IKON has great products to sell and good support. It's a great company if you work hard."

"Do not interview there. Ricoh bought the company. Look for smaller private companies."

"I had a weak manager who only worked with experienced reps. I left because of this."

"Work with your complete team and not just the experienced reps."

"KNOW YOUR PRODUCT, LISTEN, ABSORB, QUESTION and realize your purpose is providing customers with real value, and establishing long-term relationships with them are timeless."

"Somehow, over the past 30 years, allowing for acquisitions, corporate re-structuring, KEY ELEMENTS, like fundamentals, perspectives and the dynamics of that balance ya'll mentioned earlier, was becoming more and more filtered from Corporate."

"Don't finance your car longer then 3 years because it will be dead in 3-4 and you will need a new one."
