"No. It didn't work for me but it might for others. I would work there again, just not in that department."

"The constant meetings and indecisiveness. It took too long for things to get done."

"Have better training for new employees. A manual or documentation is better than a mentor."

"Working with Indian people. Their corruption knows no limits. Offshoring is so well encouraged and the company does a fantastic job of hiding the fact that it's no longer an American corporation."

"The best way to move up in the white collar end of the company is to be Indian."

What don't you like about working at Ford Motor?

"Very high employee turnover, as well as a complete lack of innovation from the IS and IT end of things. Product innovation is solicited from Europe and China."

What suggestions do you have for management?

"Follow what GM does by bringing the jobs back to America, where the customers are, instead of farming them out for pennies on the dollar to a country where their software architects don't even know what a warranty is."

"Complete dislike working for this company. There was no team work."

"I would tell them not to come to work in this place."

"No team work. Employees did not care about customers. Managers seemed like they did not care."

"The market of which we worked in was not a viable market, which led to the sale of the franchise."

"in lieu of the extreme temperatures, bring lots of fluids."

"the extreme temperatures specifically in the summer months. The humidity and temperatures become so uncomfortable you find yourself constantly searching for air conditioned areas."

"I had many suggestions mainly due to the fact I am Green Belt Certified. My suggestions saved/created more profits for the comp."

"Sometimes the hours got long - but you were compensated for reasonable overtime."

"Remember in this environment there were more than one chief tasking the Indians!"

"No... it is a very insulated culture that can be tough to ingrain oneself into."

"Work life balance was challenging to maintain. Shift to shift movement was a challenge."

"Recognize the efforts of the team regularly, never allow an opportunity to coach/mentor pass."

"The big corporate hierarchy and opportunity for advancement. I also would like to see management steer away from old schools of thought and adapt to change."
