"Ford is where dreams to go die. It is a culture of fear. The departments are heavily silo'd and do not work together. There is a reason why cars take 5 years from inception to production. Ford is successful in spite of the processes used, not because of them."

"Be honest, sincere, committed and a people person. Your strength, and success will come from those who work for and support you. Know the names of those who work for you and always say 'Thank You' when a job has been well done. It's easy recognition and costs so little to let people know they are important to what makes it happen."

What don't you like about working at Ford Motor?

"I didn't enjoy working with people not committed to doing their best work. Quality of workmanship, whether in production or in Plant Engineering, in support of production, was and has always been a priority with me. Anything short of that has been reason for concern and root cause analysis."

"I am no longer with the Company. Stay the course would be my only suggestion, as they are doing well and are moving in a direction of more empowerment to the employees."
