"Ericsson is changing and losing market share in Mexico and LATAM, if you are an engineer this is the place for you, otherwise search someplace else."

"I liked everything except for the growth opportunities related with my academic background."

"Do not hire new employees under an outsource contract once it makes people feel that you are not part of the company even you are doing the same work as the others."

"The company is big and has very good benefits and you can move within the company (or so they say)."

"Ericsson is a very good company to work for with good pay and benefits, just don't be so good at what you do that they can't afford to move you around if that is what you want."

"I would love to move more into inventory and out of delivery - but right now I do both for several customers. I'd like to do the inventory for all accounts and hand off the delivery side to someone else."

"Please get someone else to do deliveries so I can focus on inventory. :)"

"Not good resource planning and UTRAN pre/post launch optimization model."

"Management and lack of leadership above front line managers. Management unprofessional."

"Learn professionalism. Treat subordinates like humans. CEO has the vision but it is not passed down."

"The 10% annual refresh policy presented challenges where experience was required to maintain high level of specific competence and expertise in mature technology areas."

"It's always the same thing, lots of slow times and can be very boring. Not a lot of change and I hate being a contract worker."

"I would eliminate the number of contract workers and hire them as full time employees."

"The people I work with are absolutely a joy to be around. They communicate and cover for each other whenever possible. They have my back, and I have theirs."

"Be careful what you wish for. You're just a number with a salary next to it, and that is what it comes down to."

"Communication between engineers and management does not exist. There isn't any trust between the two."

"Communicate to your employees. Educate your employees. Ask your employees. React."

"Ensure that you know exactly what you're getting into. This is a very high paced work environment and you have to be able to multitask efficiently as well as knowing your job as a network engineer."

"There was lack of organization within the company which caused confusion for others in the work place."

"I would like for management to start holding employees accountable for actions so it ensures fairness between co-workers."

"My favorite part of working for Ericsson is that, on most days, 16 hours of my day are not spent working for Ericsson."

"Unless you grow wool and enjoy dead eyed staring and resigned sighs, get a different job."

"Your an automaton. You are a wrench with a data entry capability. You are replaceable. Accept it."

What suggestions do you have for management?

"I would scrap the whole one-to-many concept. From their point of view having everyone trained in everything makes employees expendable and interchangeable. This makes labor cheaper and staff changes easier to smooth over. From the point of view of the employees it means that everyone is average at everything. Nobody is good at anything. With no specialization there is no job security. Ericsson makes sure you know that you are just another number. Eventually, you aren't even a human. You're just a tool. When you treat your employees like this they take every advantage they can, they keep their heads down, they do the bare minimum. There's no excellence, no pride in their work, no innovation."

"Ericsson provides an environment that encourages open door policy. There are quite a few learning opportunities in new technology."

"Prepare for an interview by reviewing last quarter financial report. Learn about Ericsson core values."

What don't you like about working at Ericsson?

"The uncertainty of employment is a concern. This is due to the factor of current market trend but I think management could do a better job to keep employees informed."

"Regular information session given with employees instead of quarterly basis."

"Very globalized; strong on telecommunication; customer orientated; people caring, including talent plan, excellent internal academy for training."

"Slow decision making for the new changes, that caused missing the opportunity."
