"Worked for Ericsson for about a year and a half. Love the relaxed environment and the way it is managed. Micro-management is almost non-existent. People are expected to come into work and do their job without being under managements thumb. Great group of technical people to work with, who are educated in the field. Work with new and outdated technologies, have learned a lot from this job and would continue to stay if I wasn't moving away."
"Good company, different areas and projects. Good place to learn and develop."
"The company shut down because of mismanagement at the highest level. Too much dependence on a single customer at a time. By the time a good CEO was hired it was already too late."
"I worked at Ericsson for three years. They are Jekyl & Hyde when it comes to their employees. On the one hand, their benefits are exceptional. Even though their pay scale is merely average, the benefits make the total compensation worth working there. On the other hand, they lay off 10% of their workforce every March. If you don't move up or around, you have a pretty good chance of losing your job after a few years. (Five years is a long time with this company.)"
"My experience was really good. I learned a lot of new tools and skills."
"Ericsson has a very strong position in the market supporting various US Operators (i.e. AT&T, Verizon, Sprint) in deploying equipment and services which will provide subscribers/consumers the great wireless and data experience."
"Ericsson is awesome and I would recommend it to others as a slick place to work."
"I worked with this company for a year and got laid off. I was working on the Sprint network vision project. They are outsourcing a lot and are very disorganized. I did learn a lot from my seniors and supervisors. Great people to work with, very helpful. Overall company structure is kind of poor. though I did learn a lot on my own."
"It's a good old established company."
"I worked for Ericsson, and this place simply did not meet my expectations for professional nor personal growth. I therefore decided to leave to seek opportunities somewhere else."
"I started working here from November 2013, so far it is good."
"During my many years with Ericsson, I had the opportunity to expand my knowledge in Project Management and related technical activities as well. I have earned the respect and confidence from colleagues and my supervisors by working hard and meeting everyone's expectations. In addition, our customers that I attended to provided excellent feedback regarding my work ethics and commitments to the projects.Overall, I would rate my prior employer, Ericsson as an A++."
"I've worked for Ericsson since July 2006, I've found Ericsson as a strong company and I gained a lot of experience."
"Ericsson is a really good company to work for. The office in which I am located once was really good and thriving but now has a lot of the work being transferred to other offices."
