"Make LTA at least 3 years, 2 years is not enough for people to make a real difference."

"Decision of my recent layoff. It really hurt me."

"They should be subjective while taking decision of layoffs, at least."

"The company took too much time to put me on role, so had quit."

"It is surviving the heat in telecom very smoothly without much disturbance, proves the fundamentals are good."

"I liked working for this company. But they had continuous layoffs."

"Nothing, they always hired management with experience and excellent skills to manage large number of employees."

"Sometimes offices are too quiet. I cannot speak too loud."

"Too much process. Too many overhead, project managers, product managers, etc."

"The talk about outsourcing the business."

"Nothing. Constant management shuffles, Ericsson will hire an outsourced foreign worker before considering a U.S. citizen."

Do you have any tips for others interviewing with this company?

"Don't expect much. In a company of over 90,000 people you are just a number. In fact if you can avoid it, don't even apply. All projects last only a certain time and once they're up you have to find another project to work on, no matter where it is."

What don't you like about working at Ericsson?

"Technicians are treated as a necessary evil. Very low morale. Workforce is motivated by watching them lay off skilled people who don't fit their dumbed down idea of a technician or engineer. They do not want techs taking ownership of their work. A just close the work ticket mentality runs rampant throughout management."

What suggestions do you have for management?

"They need to throw their whole European business concept out and start from scratch. It's not working here."
