"Be more personalible, get to know your employees. Try to make your employees and your customers loyal - really try to understand them."

"I met some very good people there. The company was good when not re-organizing (which happened about 3 times a year). I made some good industry contacts."

"Makes sure you do not go into an new division as they seem to be the first that get laid off."

What don't you like about working at Discover Financial?

"They re-organized about 15 times in 3 years, and I had to re-apply for my job which caused un-due stress on my family as we were always worried I would get laid off. The management style is micro-management at it's best. The company was selling air as many financial companys seemed to have been doing in the past. No promotion prospects."

"Less micro-managing and more career building."

"I was unable to find a career position when I finished my degree."

"Bring your A game for the interview because DFS is where you really want to be because of endless opportunities."

"There was not much I didn't like about DFS I guess. I just hated the fact that it ended for me because of the work force reduction or down size in staff."
