"A Cisco year was called a dog year before, i.e., one year in Cisco is seven years in other places. Organizational changes and technology changes are much faster than traditional large enterprise companies."

"I disliked that it was growing too fast and causing too many organizational changes and silos in products/teams. Corporate strategy was not in sync with individual product/solution strategies."

"Encourage cross-BU communication/coordination. Establish a small product committee to create new integrated services/solutions. Promote product/technology and innovation/revolution."

"There was not a lot of development. Most new technology was purchased through acquisitions, so a lot of the technical work was adding new features. It's fun to develop new things."

"They took away our free drinks in my second internship. There really was no reason to dislike Cisco."
