What do you like about working at Chrysler?

"Working with people that care and that have pride in what they are doing. That is what made Jeep!"

Do you have any tips for others interviewing with this company?

"Until the dust settles from the bankruptcy and the Fiat deal, which may be many years. There will only be contract hiring, which means no loyalty to a company that's not willing to pay for best person out there."

What don't you like about working at Chrysler?

"Quality suffered due to cost cuts and poor senior management and corporate decisions. Blame for quality issues was put on employees, when the majority of the issues were due to cost cuts and poor quality materials to work with."

What suggestions do you have for management?

"Walk the talk! If you establish an operating system then follow it as designed. Don't short cut it. In the end quanity came first. Unless Fiat rids itself of the many Chrysler VP's that they kept, quality will suffer and the micromanagement and threats will continue. Mid management and first line supervisors cannot work under these types of conditions."
