"I'm a subcontractor of Cablevision. The job is decent but the pay isn't the best and you can't move up. That may be the worst thing about the job. The pay is too complicated to figure out. Other than that, it would be good to work for."

"The flexibility of the work schedule, being able to work on my own without constant supervision, the rewards, benefits and commission incentives and the comraderie among the employees."

"Be open minded, really be prepared to sell yourself and have an enthusiastic attitude."
What don't you like about working at Cablevision?
"The strict rules and regulations, the feeling that every small move or mistake you make will get you fired, the fact that the managers are afraid to lose their jobs so they make decisions they themselves do not want to make."
What suggestions do you have for management?
"Be more open minded, flexible and have more discretion. Not everything has to be so black or white. Listen to your employees and Cablevision will be a much more enjoyable and productive place to work."
What do you like about working at Cablevision?
"First, I'd worked with 7-8 different companies owned by Cablevision across a wide variety of sports marketing and consumer approached at event, direct mail, advertising, media/press relations, etc. No two days were the same. I'd done fairly well for the company."

"Listen to suggestions, there were 2-3 that easily would have drawn $1,000,000s from the marketplace -- including the Spiderman, Sony, Clearview, Optimum Online, store events idea."

"I've just started working for Connect One. It seems to be a nice company with great potential but, it just seems like they are poorly prepared. They have over 100 workers, but the work environment doesn't appeal to my taste."
