"I've worked at ADP, Inc. for 18 months. In this time I have reached the top of my position as an administrative assistant. This company has no plan for admin assistants, no career path to promotion. In fact it would be easier to go back down the ladder or make a lateral move. Its probably easier to seek employment elsewhere and return if you enjoy ADP."
"Great company to work for."
"I worked for ADP Dealer Services for 4 years as a fulltime employee and a contractor and it's a good place to work, but has issues with office politics and favoritism in terms of moving up within the company."
"I've been in and out of a relationship with ADP as an employee as well as consultant. Be very careful if you accept a role with them as a US consultant. They routinely will use you to train offshore workers then terminate your contract and work the offshore team (Freshers) for the cost of ONLY giving them experience. Also, always be on the lookout for a better role if you are on contract with them. They have no problem with having you on a year contract and pulling the budget a couple months in."
"ADP is a good place to work, the supervisors and managers make it seem like it is a slave plantation, with no compassion for the employee and their situation."
"It is not a company to grow in IT."
"I have been working for ADP for past 2 years. Its a very good and employee friendly company."
"Company management is hypocritical. They say they want to provide world class customer services yet implement policies and work metrics that actively promote poor customer service and put the customer service reps between a rock and hard place. Training on new products haphazard at best often times changes are implemented with almost no warning"
"I have been with my current company for over 13 years."
"ADP Dealer Services has been a great place to work. The tools to do our jobs are frequently upgraded to let us supply and support our clients in the best way. Working from home is also possible with the right equipment!"
"Great entry level job for recents grads with no real work experience. You will learn a lot and this is a great launching pad for other sales opportunities."
"Great company with really nice people."
"ADP is a large company that I worked with for 3.5 years. Salary was good but I soon was overworked and had not enough time to work on projects I found worthwhile."
"Great benefits, good work-home balance. Great tool set for accomplishing work."
"The Dealer management division has a bright future. It's doing very well and moving in the right direction. The clean up of a large number of employees (consolidating to Chicago and India) hopefully has finished. Which means the company is now leaner and there is more opportunity to move up."
