"This was a great company with wonderful people. There is very little turnover at this company."

"Upper mgmt is out of touch with the reality of what really goes on locally."

"We are paid fairly. It is a large company but we have a small crew at this location."
Do you have any tips for others interviewing with this company?
"This would be a great company if the processes were more defined and streamlined. I feel like we're all a bunch of chickens with our heads cut off. And we've got someone with an ego as our local manager who wants to run things his way, no matter whether they coincide with how corporate wants things done."
What don't you like about working at McQuay International?
"Upper mgmt has no clue as to how local mgmt runs things behind the scenes. Local mgmt believes in keeping issues internal (in other words, secret) and not disclosing all the facts about re-work and engineering errors."
What suggestions do you have for management?
"Upper management needs to get serious about our facility and become more in depth in our processes. There need to be more checks and balances. No more, I'm the king, do as I say from local managment."

"the people are great to work with. No pressure in this position."

"The employees in the Rockville office are great, but don't come together as a team. You need to be the first to proceed."
What don't you like about working at Telvent?
"somewhat disorganized, going thru a buyout, new company looks ok, but is very large."
What suggestions do you have for management?
"There have been several high level people leave since the buyout. I'm looking for some regrouping."

"I really like the location, customers and the team atmosphere."

"Do what you say. Say what you do. and stick to it. Get everything in writing and signed by the interviewer."

"I felt they didn't promote themselves as well as they could have. They were a great company but they were a secret."

"Get a salesman that doesn't camp in his office all week. Get involved with the community, its cheap advertizement and would go along way for the business."

"I enjoyed the people and the work itself. The job was non repetitive, and I was able to self motivate on a daily basis."

"Just be prepared to be completely honest, as this company deals mostly in Government contracts, and requires a security clearance."

"I did not enjoy the fact that the position was relocated to the other side of the country, with no other opportunities in this region."

"I feel that upper management should take the time to look at their employees and the things that those employees have to offer the company. Most senior level managers do not know the lower level workers that work for them, or the skills that they have or have acquired."

"Be honest about past experiences and future goals. Express your requirements clearly and succinctly; they will do everything possible to meet your needs."

"Often I feel that I am underemployed in the contract postions in which I am assigned."

"From my observations, this is a group of highly motivated individuals attempting to mitigate employment relatlions in a troubled market; I think they do an excellent job, and have no suggestions."

What do you like about working at Multi-Wall Packaging?
"It was not boring. There were new challenges every day."
Do you have any tips for others interviewing with this company?
"You will be expected to work overtime. Count on it. No matter what they tell you when you are first hired. Don't ever count on getting out of work at a certain time. You will have to punch a time card, regardless of position, unless you are upper management."
What don't you like about working at Multi-Wall Packaging?
"Un-professionalism of supervisors. The way managers speak to staff is completely inappropriate for the workplace. Yelling is common, sarcastic remarks, and persistent threats to job security are daily occurrences. The pay was also very low. There actually wasn't a choice on here for the amount of pay I received, so I just chose the lowest one (which is more than I made)."
What suggestions do you have for management?
"More staff and more trust in the staff. Most of the folks there do their job well and would happily do even more if they were allowed a bit of trust. The staff is stretched very thin and that leaves little to no room for error, which is more likely to happen when the staff is stretched thin to begin with. Don't be 'pound foolish'."

"Before the recession, I liked the company because it provided the security and stability that I needed."
Do you have any tips for others interviewing with this company?
"The most important thing is to be honest. Be prepared and don't waste their time. It doesn't necessarily help to know someone who works for the company, either. I've seen people try to get their old coworkers/friends into ML--but it never seems to work."
What don't you like about working at Morgan, Lewis & Bockius?
"Bullying is a problem that people are scared to talk about or confront. The bonuses are too small. The frugality of Morgan Lewis gets boring and your expectations of the company become very low."
What suggestions do you have for management?
"Get rid of the old Brobeck employees who bore everyone with their mind-numbing stories."
What do you like about working at NBCUniversal?
"I like TV and being on the lot. It's fun."

"You're working for a huge corporation. Kiss ass and see what happens."

"Being at a desk for 10 hours a day. Boring."

"The culture is very upbeat and friendly, everyone truly believes in the University and its mission. Applicants need to enjoy working in a university setting and being part of a community."

"There is limited room for growth in my department and there are currently no opportunities in other areas."

"I don't like the fact that there is no room to move up. You are stuck at one position for as long as you work there."

"The suggestions I have for management would be, look around you there are many people eager to learn new and different things in the company. There are times that there is no need to hire new people the talent is already within the company."
