What do you like about working at Children's Home Society & Family Services?
"Most remote offices permit casual/street attire and a free schedule (ie take breaks when you feel you need them, lunch/no lunch, etc.)"
Do you have any tips for others interviewing with this company?
"Don't. They don't pay medical staff a competive wage. Also they are in the process of cutting pay scales and benefits - there are better places to work if you have the skills to work here."

"Unwillingess of executive management to allow mid-level management to...manage. Cutting low-level worker pay and benefits instead of firing mid-level workers who are not doing their jobs. Making drastic company-wide changes to processes and internal contacts without consulting with teams who work with highest-profile clients."

"Learn from the bottom up - always know what is really going on, don't just make assumptions and do what is best for YOU as an executive."

"The laid back attitude of the people I worked with, as long as the job was done thoroughly and properly."

"The only tips that I would give to others is to be honest in all of your answers concerning everything. Government background checks are mandatory."

"Didn't like the fact that there were no other positions at the time the contract ended."

"There were really no suggestions that I would make to the management."

"Most of staffs are worked under contract and without benefit."

"I would build deeper relationships with my employees to find their greatest potential."

"I like the scenic view from their location and the benefits."

"It's a great company to have on your resume, but you won't learn great lessons with regard to how a hotel is efficiently managed. Also, it is hard to move up within the actual property. You are better off starting in a role here and then transferring to another property when you'd like to move up."
What don't you like about working at Ritz-Carlton ?
"The employees are stuck in their ways so it is hard to be more efficient. The leaders act superior and demeaning. There is very little communication regarding company info and updates. Very few of the employees know why things operate the way they do and they don't seem to care enough to ask questions."

"I'd make sure the employees came first and make sure communication between all leaders and subordinates was fluid and open."

"I worked the day and evening hours and work weekends. I'd prefer not working weekends."

"I do not like my current level of pay because I think it is fairly low for my given level of education."

"I would suggest the upper management be more proactive about raising salaries to take into account increases in the cost of living and to retain talented employees and not risk loosing the investment that has been invested in training."
