"Company had gotten too big to take 2 minutes to notify employees about former (over 5 year old) court garnishment no longer in effect, just assumed it was still in effect and garnished my paycheck with no employee notification beforehand. When inquired about why no prior notification for Old Court order, was told, we have over 50,000 contractors and we don't have time to do that."

"Review policy associated communications with contractors to improve communications."

"The diversity of clients that I worked with and the the fact it was with the IT background."

"Be very open about what your dislikes and likes are."

"THe pay system. You worked of a tiered commission. Too many recruiters at one location. Not enough clients to recruit for."

"Not to hire so many people at onee location."

"Limited opportunities for career advancement."

"The recruiters were not stable for rolling contractors to another job. They were also hard to find."

"Work management interacting with employer and employee. Kind of like a union."

"Seek recruiters at earth level. Too many Barbie dolls and Kens trying to look good, not performing as a caring professional. They know what you're capable of but they give the job to a friend."

"The contract ends. Then I have to wait for another contract to open. It takes two or more months before the next one."

What suggestions do you have for management?

"Get the recruiters on the ball. They have the database for workers and job requirement. Have them on their toes working as hard as the contractors trying to keep their jobs."

"Too much time traveling on the road. I forgot what my house looked like."

"Be prepared because they will not place anyone they don't feel is qualified."

"Unless you are a career contractor - you probably don't want to work for them too long!"
