"The pay is great once you have a job."

"The people at the Tek office are great people. Be prepared to wait a long time between contract jobs. Keep interviewing for other jobs. If you get an offer before Tek, take the job!"

What don't you like about working at TEKsystems?

"Waiting for another job. Some clients don't treat the contract employees well. If it's a big client, the transgression gets ignored. When it's a temp to hire position, the clients would let people go just before they would turn permanent."

What suggestions do you have for management?

"Whatever happened to trying to keep in touch with employees and former employees? I haven't heard from anyone in about 2-3 years!"

"Make sure you have private insurance or you have a spouse with insurance cause you won't want it here if you are a contractor."

"Terrible benefits for contractors."

"Get better benefits for contractors."

"They seem to really have just one big client, so if there isn't an opening there you might be benched."

"Insurance is horrible. Overprices yet covers nothing. No 401K or other savings programs."

"Get better insurance. Start 401k."

"Hang with them. They will find a great job for you."

"Our recruiter wasn't very responsive, but I believe, after learning more about other recruiters, she was just one bad apple. She is no longer with the company, by the way!"

"Be in touch with the staffers more. The fiascoes created by our recruiter could have been minimized, perhaps, but she was excellent at covering her tracks."

"They don't seem to get the same reqs that other staffing companies do, which makes for less opportunities if you want to stay with the same staffing company."
