"I loved my job giving me the opportunity to give back. The job I used to work at DISA had direct help to our troops overseas, and it allowed me a way to do my part. I learned a lot about technical support and wouldn't trade it for the world. My skills have been refined and I've seen so many interesting things that I would never have been able to learn about in a textbook."

"The company tended to neglect their contract workers and failed to provide any full-time opportunities. Instead, others like me were steered into an endless loop of contract-only positions."

"Read the civil rights act of 1965 regarding discrimination in the workplace, especially the section on age."

"You will learn a lot, but the workload can become more than you might expect."

What don't you like about working at MSCI?

"No chance of increase in financial compensation. Workload increasing with high expectations but little acknowledgement of accomplishments."

What suggestions do you have for management?

"Management does a good job, also overworked. Company owner very intelligent man for whom I have great respect for his knowledge, but poor employee relationship skills."

"Nice building and within 40 miles of my home. There were some professional managers there that were good at what they did."

"Be sure the job description is correct and that you can get along with co-workers who feel like they are in charge and take 1.5 lunch breaks on your time."

What don't you like about working at Energize Inc?

"The VP of Broadband is over IT and doesn't have a clue. He always disappeared when there was a network outage. Human Resources was unorganized with the time sheet process."

What suggestions do you have for management?

"Organization is need very badly. Not everyone needs to be a VP of something and get rid of the good ole boy click."

"Call center, not enough credit for the work I do, not passionate about just doing tech support, need the freedom to be more creative, they did not seem to care that I had a bachelors degree."

"My coworkers were wonderful people, there was ample vacation time allotted and the facility was decent."

"Hard work pays off! Management will take notice of your efforts so keep plugging away even if at times you believe your efforts are being unnoticed."

"The tasks I was responsible for were trivial compared to my abilities and skills, thus I found myself often times wishing for more. The company was also on a financial decline and the stress was definitely showing."

What suggestions do you have for management?

"My suggestion would be to keep up the hard work (management was highly overworked) and continue to seek improvements on policy/guidelines to ensure a quality product."

"I would suggest adjusting their priorities to ensure resources are evenly distributed between both outsources and our local core team. Here at WD they put so much into our outsourcers, our budget for them is triple the internal budget."
