"I have worked at Target for over a year. The pay is a few dollars above minimum wage, and for retail, that is not terrible. Work is unskilled and does not always foster a positive environment. There is some in-store mobility, but all other positions are independent."

"Target can be a great company to work for. With it being retail you have to expect to work at a minimum every other weekend and just about every holiday. The benefits provided are very good, solid 401k match (5%), health insurance and dental as well as many others including discounts through various vendors. With it being such a large company there is lots of room to move up, but at the salaried level expect to work 50 hours a week minimum and potentially more, especially during Q4."
